About Specialty Beads

SpecialtyBeads.com  is a new website dedicated to bringing you beautiful and interesting beads and supplies so that you can create incredible jewelry! SpecialtyBeads.com was developed by us, Gary and Jannell Botto. We live in Truckee, Ca. (near Lake Tahoe) with our three sons. We own a bead store in Truckee called “Gioielli’s”. Gioielli means jewel or jewelry in Italian.

SpecialtyBeads.com started from my love of beads. Gary was easily convinced to join in on this adventure in the beading world when he realized that travel was a natural part of  bead buying. Gary’s Italian heritage has strongly influenced our specializing in Venetian Beads from Murano, Italy.

It is our goal to develop a website where you can go to buy beads knowing that every bead and finding has been individually selected because it is beautiful and extraordinary! Finding beads can at times be overwhelming and confusing and we believe we can make this easier. We put tremendous energy into purchasing exceptional beads and findings at every price range!
