Multi-Strand Swarovski Necklace

img/2.5mm-mesh-necklace.jpg100" of 2.5mm Italian Mesh Ribbon

14 4mm Swarovski Crystals

16 6mm Swarovski Crystals

1 Pair 7mm Vermeil Ribbon Ends

2 Jump Rings

1 Clasp

Cut your 2.5mm Italian Mesh Ribbon into 6 pieces. The pieces should be 15 1/2", 15 3/4", 16", 16 1/4", 16 1/2", and 16 3/4". Twirl the end of each piece of Mesh Ribbon to use as a needle. On the 15 1/2" piece string on five 4mm Swarovski Crystals; on the 15 3/4" piece alternating sizes string on three 6mm Swarovskis Crystals and two 4mm Swarovski Crystals; on the 16" piece string on five 6mm Swarovski Crystals; on the 16 1/4" piece string on five 4mm Swarovski Crystals; on the 16 1/2" piece alternating sizes string on three 6mm Swarovski Crystals and two 4mm Swarovski Crystals; and on the 16 3/4" piece string on five 6mm Swarovski Crystals. If you have used 4mm and 6mm Crystals they will be moveable, but should stay in place because of the friction caused by the inside of the bead against the Italian Mesh Ribbon. If you would like to keep them exactly in place use a small dot of glue at each bead. I also run the end bead on each piece up to the edge then back down so it will change the end from a flat piece to a rounded piece. This will make it match the rest of the necklace. Flatten each end slightly and glue them together with E6000 glue. Make sure you encase the last 1/4" of the end with glue.  Allow this to dry. Trim the end of your glued surface to allow the end to fit snuggly into the Ribbon Ends. Open your Ribbon Ends slightly and insert the ends of your ribbons. Squeeze the Ribbon Ends closed. (by encasing your ends of the ribbons in glue and allowing it to dry, you are ensuring that the teeth of the Ribbon Ends bite into the hardened glued surface instead of the delicate mesh that it can pull out of) Connect the Ribbon Ends to your Clasp with a Jump Ring. You have an amazing necklace!
