Place two beads on both pieces of Italian Mesh Ribbon and move them to the center. Tie an overhand knot (just one knot) to secure the beads in place. Pull out the Mesh to make approximately a 1" ruffle with both pieces of the Italian Mesh Ribbon. Add two more beads and tie another overhand knot, making sure the knot is on the backside of the beads. Make another ruffle. Add two more beads and tie them in place. Repeat with the remaining beads on the other side. The Mesh Ribbon will be straight from the last bead to the top of your necklace. To get this straight, ruffle it out and then re-straighten it to be about 1/4" wide. Apply E6000 Glue to the ends of your ribbons making sure to completely encase the final 1/4" Allow this to dry. Trim the end of your glued surface to allow the end to fit snuggly into the Ribbon Ends. Open your Ribbon Ends slightly and insert the ends of your ribbons. Squeeze the Ribbon Ends closed. (By encasing your ends of the ribbons in glue and allowing it to dry, you are ensuring that the teeth of the Ribbon Ends bite into the hardened glued surface instead of the delicate mesh that it can pull out of.) Connect the Ribbon Ends to your Clasp with a Jump Ring. Remember to straighten your Italian Mesh Ribbon and re-ruffle it each time before you wear it. We call this Freshening your Mesh Necklace. Enjoy!
